I heard that Dudley are to start a 2 month trial. if it's going to be rolled out in other areas before the trial finishes in Dudley then it sounds all a bit of a muddle.

What if during and after the trials in Dudley they say it's not going to work. do they not give Dudley and probably other areas where the same could be said won't work the 50Mb?

I thought it had already been trialled?

The closing date is today for the 200 people they need to do the trials in Dudley.

It's technically a 'soft' launch rather than a trial.

Calling it a trial just gets more people interested and makes them feel 'special'

only came down here cos someone told me as it was down the bottom of the country they get faster broadband as it runs faster downhill lol!! but they forgot to mention the south downs doh!!

I was offered the 50mbps 'trial'. Unfortunately, due to a dodgy mother board I was without a PC and didn't check my email until after the deadline for the registration.
