I was really looking forward to binge watching the entire series after it ends, but after the penultimate episode, I'm not bothered any more. Hopefully the last episode will make it worthwhile investing in all of these characters for so long but I doubt it.
Dany being pretty much a herione all the way through, just to turn into a murderer.
Jaime basically ending up where he started, despite redeeming himself somewhat.
Brienne losing her virginity and becoming a snivelling girly wreck
Bran....a complete waste of screentime.
Arya spending episode 5 wandering around getting filthy and buggering off on a horse
Cersei not dying slowly and horribly at the hands of someone who deserved to end her.
Only my opinion.

HBO allegedly would've been fine allowing the series to continue over a few more seasons. D&D convinced them they could tie everything up in a single season.
Dany was always going to end up being the mad Queen. Trying to write that into 5 episodes to conclude it in 6 however may have been a mistake.
The other points are valid though. Some of the writing and ideas have been fairly poor. Still enjoying it nonetheless. I honestly think they should have had two six episode seasons though. One dedicated to the night king and the beginning of the mad Queen followed by a final season of her concluding the mad Queen angle whilst building her up as a powerful antagonist. Disregarding Euron aimbotting a dragon for mere plot shock, which has only nerfed her somewhat.
Not sure whether to watch as it airs with potential interruption and then join in the Internet riot afterwords or to just watch on demand after I get up.

Potential interruption? No Matter. I'm looking for a full rendering of that first vid if it exists.
On call between 2200-0800. Usually dies off straight after midnight but there can be a 5 minute query here and there.
Either way. Can't wait to see this through. It's been a quality show regardless of opinion surrounding this last season and there's never going to be an ending here that pleases everyone. Can't wait for the prequel and whatever else comes of this and hopefully the LOTR Prime video series can match GoT in quality and storytelling.
As for the link again. Great song. Gave me vibes of Florence Welch at first so to discover it was Florence Welch and being a fan of course. With that I got this. https://youtu.be/eTa1jHk1Lxc

I think the episode 5 explained I posted earlier showed where the writers were coming from better than elsewhere.
Without giving any spoilers away I am happy with how it ended. It was 95% how I expected with a slight twist as to who ends up on the iron throne.
If you haven't heard already there is another coffee cup joke going around apart from this time it is a bottle of water. I didn't notice it and you have really got to look for it. It is at 44:04.
