l am not sure most of these contracts are worth the paper they are written on and as we have seen with RDM and MH chairmans and owners are getting increasingly impatient nowadays.

Well 1 - 0 and a man ahead. Think they'll get this result anyway.

Silly penalty to give away but the sending off was a bit harsh.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
As for Newcastle, they would have suspected some difficulty but this time last season they had a bit of a poor patch and came back. I think they'll have a problem doing quite so well in the scouting department as the area is so competitive, you get an advantage as they did last year and all the other clubs rush to catch up.

Yes they might as well park the bus in the Wigan half now as its 2-0 now.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Newcastle really do want to be the Arsenal of the north. First of all the 'self-sustainability' model, then the French revolution, now the perpetual injury crisis. Most impressively they're going though 10 years of Arsenal's history in just a a couple of seasons!

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Depth of the Newcastle squad is the key issue this year and it can quickly be resolved. Naturally Pardew only thought about depth after the window shut
Whilst the RDM sacking was just plain crap. Mark Hughes was asking for it, You can't approach Christmas rock bottom of the table without a win, It's football. In his 34 games in charge of QPR, he failed to win in 26 of them.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
so its day 1 of 2 for the remaining CL group fixtures (matchday 6).
Group A has 1 big game for top spot. PSG(12pts) v Porto(13pts). Dynamo Kyiv(4pts) are in the EL, their away at pointless Dinamo Zagreb.
Group B like group A only has movement for the top 2. Current leaders in the group Schalke(11pts) are away at Montpellier(1pts). Arsenal(10pts) second in the group play Olympiacos(6pts) away.
Group C has Malaga (11pts) and AC (8pts) safe in 1st and 2nd place but the pair play the other 2 in the group who are fighting for EL. Malaga v Anderlecht(4pts) and AC v Zenit(4pts). If Anderlechts and Zenits results match then itll go to goal difference. both sides won their head-to-heads with matching scores.
Group D'eath also has like Group C the EL fight. Dortmund(11pts) safe group winners play Man City(3pts) and Real (8pts) safe in second place take on Ajax(4pts). City need to win and hope Ajax draw or are defeated at Real for EL football.
