The ref in the Germany Serbia game is crap.

And they could not but it wasn't for the want of trying.
Podolski should have done better with his penalty

the ghana v germany game could be a good game to watch if ghana beat australia tomorrow. as a england fan would like both us and germany to finish top of our groups so we miss each other next round

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
But doubtful if England will finsh top, Slovenia won their first game and are 2-0 up in the USA game. Only saving grace is after Germany's performance they might not win their group either so that will suit England

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
Bad refereeing cost Germany that match but all the real teams are losing their matches - due to dodgy balls probably, free kicks have been awesomely bad.
BBC are reporting that David James is 'likely' goalie tonight.

The USA equalize. Good news for England if it stays this way.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
Do you honestly think that the England team couldn't have gone out and got a set of balls within 24 hours?? Also they could have bought a set of footballs almost the same speed..
The USA/Slovenia game was great, fantastic comeback by the yanks and upto that point the Ref was doing great. Shame that one mistake can always ruin a match

Yes. 'If' being the operative word.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
Nope, If England lose it'll be the following
The USA have 2 points, Slovenia 4 and Algeria 3 with England 1, USA though would have to lose and England would have to win thier last games by a convincing margin (two clear goals) for it to be
USA 2, Algeria 6 England 4 and Slovenia 4
with England going through on goal difference
Now would you like this girl to explain the off-side rule to ya

Don't be silly, but you are handy for explaining a tournament I have little interest in
