8 more areas need to be upgraded to 10Mb, until that has happened, I doubt you'll hear anything from Virgin Media before hand.

The two are in no way related in that 50Mbit doesn't depend on 10 rollout. Quite the opposite actually release of 50M might actually help with 10Mbit upgrade.

50 meg is currently being trailed in certain areas, its a head end upgrade FYI.

I heard that something is coming midway through November 2008, or an announcement will be made....
We always hear things or rumours to be precise, but this seems too good to be true.
Just another date (not that one was given, other then the month) for us to anticipate.
Waiting can sometimes be a cruel thing.
