You haven't quite grasped it, have you Chimy? A New Woman would never be seen in the kitchen - that's the New Man's domain now. You're meant to be outside mowing the lawn or tinkering with the car.
...I'm doing a tub of fresh carbonara sauce over pasta.

Well yeah, actually, Paul did the dinner and I have been out tinkering in the garden this afternoon!! The car is still off limits till Wednesday though!

I quite like lamb myself, Budwieser. Incredibly expensive though, and tricky to cook right. Usually opt for it in restaurants.

You will be amazed!!!
I guarantee it, even more so if you bbq it over an indirect heat in a weber!!!

Cook lamb slowly and you will get excellent results, a leg of lamb done in a slow cooker all day is very hard to beat for flavour and texture.
If you cook it with stock, wine, onions, garlic and veg etc you can make some excellent gravies as well!!!

Roast chicken, roast potatoes, boiled carrots & cabbage with gravy. Nice traditional English food!
Naturally, I am pickling myself whilst cooking

Steak casserole with onions & carrots. New potatoes roasted in their skins, sprinkled with herbs and roasted in olive oil, fresh spring cabbage and green beans. Washed down with a bottle of Deen De Bortoli, Family Reserve, Durif 2002. a superb antipodean number, a much better finish than their cricketers of late.

sounds yummy - especially the wine, I havn't tried a Durif - will keep my eye out.
we had Scottish sirloin steak (rare/medium), potato wedges & tinned peas
wine - Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon - about £3 a litre & 14%
