You can connect them all by WiFi if you really want.
They don't require an ethernet connection.

Well it's not true.
Its maybe a suggestion to make sure you have a good connection.
However you can use just WiFi if you want.

I suppose it's to try and cut down on support calls, less to go wrong if it's plugged directly into the Superhub itself.

Re: Virgin Media V6 - Powered by TiVo(new STB)
Wife rang up and used the "thinking of leaving" option and got quoted £214 for two boxes. We've been with the company since the Telewest days. He didn't even sound remotely bothered when she asked if we were out of contract and could leave.
Granted we are not on a VIP package but I expected better.

I'm not sure VM offer much to long-term existing customers that are no on the top packages.

Just been chatting to someone online and we are getting 2 V6 boxes installed and activated for near on £115 on the 10th of February as that was the first date they could give us.

For that price, you have 1 V6 box free
Or you have both boxes for £49.95 each

Sorry to hear that you cannot get the live chat to work as perhaps restart your computer and perhaps it might work after that.

The rather bigger issue is if like me do you use the scart output to your Slingbox? if so the V6 does not have a scart socket so you would have to buy a HDMI splitter to get anything out of it.
Due to this reason I am keeping my TiVo but in the bedroom just to keep the Slingbox connected to that.
