People have said that before. Wait for a couple of positive results and it will calm down again. Unless it really goes bad from here.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Arsene Wenger as Arsenal manager is done.

The thing is football has moved on while Arsene Wenger has stood still.

No it isn't. He has just been given a new contract. He has finished top four every season and won the FA Cup last year. If we pull enough results together then this 'crisis' will disappear just like the others ones did.
Everyone reacts to the immediate. Every week someone is in a crisis. The truth is if Arsenal qualify for the Champions League again then Wenger's position is secure.
He might go but things will have to get worse yet.

His position wont be secure in the eyes of thee ever growing fanbase that are no longer willing to support him. Year in, year out his bullcrap comes back to bite him. Every.Single.Year.
The FA Cup was won in bullcrap fashion.

But the fans still turn up, they'll be placated by wins and as long as we make the Champions League the board are obviously content. They make the decision.

Arsenal won the FA Cup. I don't think the fact we didn't win in the way you wanted, whatever that is, changes that.

Talking about the FA cup, the 3rd round draw is this evening, 7pm BBC2.
I hope we get Leeds, I miss the games against them

Ask yourself how much do the board want to take from the fans? Money, emotional/mental stability, it has even got physical between the fans. Its a pee take. They are draining the fanbase and its totally wrong. Arsenal fans gave nothing but support and positivity to breed success when the stadium was being built and thereafter repaying. Its toxic in the stands because the fans are waiting for a return for the loyalty they have shown. How can the club continue to ask the fans to drain themselves. Its disgusting.
I was saying Wenger is riding out his luck. Its the board now.

I like drawing Leeds. Arsenal had a great game against them away a few years ago.

And they don't care because the fans aren't using the only power they have over them - to withhold their money. Other than getting people in the stadium and buying shirts football clubs don't care about the fans. It's their club.

Well you were happy to celebrate it at the time.

There is no real fan power other than just don't turn up, empty stadium. Ticket sales will always be there. Has the waiting list for season tickets got any smaller?

I'm happy the club won it. It's an awesome trophy. I just didn't like the fashion in which it was won. Arsenal are better than that.

Didn't they knock United out the last time they met?

They did, but I still have good memories of going to matches against them. I always sat near the Leeds fans when I went, its a great rivalry and a shame we don't see it anymore.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
Too much blatant hatred for my liking, far worse than United v Liverpool.
