Is ITV2 HD going to be launching soon or something? As this screenshot now shows ITV1 HD for the channel name instead of ITVHD!

Quite possible b efore end of 2010 but miostly likely be sky and posisble virign media only freesat launch as with channel 4 hd channels and five channels wont launch on freesat until 2012 when the new astra satilletes launch witha hell a lot moe bandwidht for uk only channels and if i aint mistaken will be dvb-s2 so will have a lot or room for hd

The FA Cup Final will take place on the 15th May. Do you work for Virgin Media, or are you just going to make an educated guess as to how likely it is?

Probably more to do with ITV +1 now being allowed to launch and ITV HD gearing up for simulcast of the main channel for primetime.

Can't see your image, but the name change is because ITV1 HD will become a standalone channel, rather than being red button content.

I aint saying, but it is in active talks and is quite possible be one that launchs april/may depending on teh final switchover to NGTV and anagolue switch off the later being more important

ESPN could do with launching a 2nd Channel now they have got the rights to the FA Cup & Guiness Premiership, it would certainly help there profile.

Virgin Media are updating their headends.

[COLOR="[/COLOR]UPDATE: Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: Virgin Media to end Local Radio in April (Maybe sooner.)

Here is the info I was was giving last week on when Virgin Media are to axe the Following BBC Radio Channels on Virgin TV

the following dates WAS as followed:

February:
4th: BBC Radio Cleveland - Gateshead (North East)
4th: BBC Radio Newcastle - Gateshead (North East)

March:
18th. BBC Essex - Basildon
18th. BBC Radio Kent - Basildon
24th. BBC Radio Bristol - Bristol (Aztec)
24th. BBC Radio Gloucester - Bristol (Aztec)
25th. BBC Devon - Newton Abbot (Eurobell W)
31st. BBC Radio Shropshire - Birmingham
31st. BBC Radio West Midlands - Birmingham

April:
1st. BBC Radio Shopshire - Wolverhampton(Midlands)
1st. BBC Radio West Midlands - Wolverhampton (Midlands)
6th. BBC Radio Lancashire - Preston
6th. BBC Radio Merseyside - Liverpool

Virgin Media has removed local Radio in the Bristol areas. (Not March 24th as seen on my list)
