Unbelievable performance, he was outstanding. Novak was very gracious in defeat too.

Brilliant game, well done Murray. That last point was really tense going.
The only downer of the day was seeing Dave's smug face there.

Yes well when I posted that there was never any hope of him winning. Thanks to some dodgy decisions and injuries, he was given an easy run. And how in the Hell Djokovic is number one is a joke. Rolling over in 3 sets for that loser.

Djokovic didn't lose this final, Murray won it.

Just read the comments on BBC website re "Sir" Andy's victory and can't believe how many feel the need to denigrate such a superb performance both physically and more importantly mentally. Certainly Ivan Lendl has been such an influence in the way not only in his on court play but also on his attitude during the game.
He could have so easily have gone out in the quarter final having gone down 2 sets. however coming back to win made me view Andy in a new light. After that match I felt confident that he could lift the trophy.

Well done, All the in UK and NI should be so so proud of him today.

 | I couldn't agree more.

Mark you need to chillout mate, as you're always moaning about everything and never happy.

Caught the match half way through, but was impressed by Andy's excellent gameplay. Well done! Only downer for me was seeing Cameron, oh and Salmond!
