Re: [Merged] Football talk
I was really chuffed with the result as I can't imagine the stick I'd have got if Boro had won
anyway, any pictures that were taken were done whilst under the influence of alcohol so cannot be posted on a family forum

What's the point, if you play like you did against us, you'll just rollover and a very easy/comfortable 3 points for them

Re: [Merged] Football talk
well shocking decision last night by the ref..we should have had at least 2 pens
Not sure how everyone missed it but i think Carroll helped with his reaction to just keep on playing..
Despite all our possession and shots we still didn't really unlock the door and Robinson only had a few saves to make. Still think we need to get another playmaker in midfield.. Keono looks back to his best but Ronaldo is only really a wingr and not great when he comes inside. Scholes is starting to get abit old now and we need someone else who can break teams down.
With all the injuries to the other strikers was expecting Smith to show his early season form and get a few hattricks and cement his place in the side. Fraid as a loan striker he hasn't been outstanding in the last few games. Don't think we would have done any better with Rooney playing either.
With the arse drawing we had a chance to close the gap to second instead we threw it away and let Everton come back at us
