STV HD will be available on Digital Terrestrial Television/Freeview on channel 51 and on Virgin Media on channel 113 from next week

Gems TV (UK) Limited hope to sell it UK Company by 6pm on June 30th to The Colourful Company Group Limited.

If the Proposed UK Sale does not complete, it is likely the Company will have to shut down its business operations in UK and liquidate the assets of Gems UK accordingly.

I'm afraid for those who have UTV it's very unlikly any HD channel will arrive now unless anything is going on behind the scenes which no one knows about.

THe official STV site has it launching on the 11th as did the advert for STV HD I saw tonight on STV1.

Great news, I haven't watched it yet but have recorded the first episode. I'll watch it in HD now instead

you are 100% right, It's great that everyone is getting the world cup in HD. But us VM ppl in N.Ireland get nothing.

I've Emailed UTV in the past about this but got nothing back.

Could ITV HD not e put on here as a temp thing?

according to a post on DS: UTV confirm HD Launch

UTV have just announced to staff officially that their HD service will launch in the Autumn...
