I wish a man from Manchester would buy united.
I don't like the sound of this at all.
Glazer seems to be edging his way in to united bit by bit, the sign of a man without the collateral to make a formal bid for the club, what's worse is if he succeeds, united could go into debt
Maybe the Irish duo have something up their sleeves to counter the bid, or maybe they are waiting just for the cash.

Re: [Merged] Football talk
Spurs 4 Arsenal 5.....
Many people say a leaking defence is what led to Man United slips in recent years, so perhaps Arsenal's bubble has prematurely burst. They've certainly been letting in quite a few goals recently. Even though Arse still won, didn't Middlesborough manage to get 3 past them at Highbury a few weeks ago?

Re: [Merged] Football talk
a 9 goal derby... how often does that happen?
Although we lost, it sounds like my boys made a good go of it, so I am pleased for them.

Re: [Merged] Football talk
does anyone else think that the guy trying to take over Man U. (Malcolm Glazer) lools a little bit like John McCririck?

Re: [Merged] Football talk
well malcom glazers backers banking giant jp morgan has dropped him as a client, they were unhappy at the 'clout' used by glazer at the meeting which saw directors being ousted.

Re: [Merged] Football talk
Glazer's not as bad as Nigel Doughty though. I seriously want Doughty to go, and take his lying, deceptive Chief Exec Mark Arthur with him as well.
*gets off the fence*

Re: [Merged] Football talk
i cant see giggsy going anywhere he just wants a longer contract , and i think he will be given it.
a fine win today by the boys and 2 exceptional goals from the roon , although the toon/arse/scouse etc etc will all bleat about yet another penalty for ruud..

Re: [Merged] Football talk
Shock news , Man Utd are moved to Merseyside.
I was just using DigiGuide to check the TV listings and checking on next Saturdays PPV game, DigiGuide informs me that on the 20th Manchester United take on Charlton Athletic at Everton....
Come on Paul M. tell me it isn't true.

i'd rather sell giggs and get a decent left winger who is younger instead.. maybe someone who can actually beat a defender and puts in a decent performance..
you are right though it's just gamesmanship with the contract.. look at Wes Brown he signed in the end and i'm sure Carroll will sign in the end as well..
