I'd have probably accepted this as a fair deal before but as it keeps vein repeated people on m deals now pay a quid extra than before to get sky sports and the hd versions. Not fair whatsoever on xl or VIP customers in this instance and this has to be universally agreed upon

It is likely that Virgin Media subscribers will also get access to the Sky Sports News HD channel under carriage agreements between the two operators, although nothing has been confirmed as yet.

exactly. when virgin contacted me "inviting" me to join VIP as i was "one of their best customers" (lol) i asked whether they would be getting any movie or sports hd to which i was assured they would eventually and when i asked would i have to pay extra they said "no, unlike sky we dont charge for hd".

Cancel movies and sports and if you have had sky in the past ring them and tell them you want to return if you get a good deal,They should offer you sky world half price.They are expecting calls some of my mates have been ringing today,2 different deals
£24.25 or £34.25(if they insist on you taking the hd pack) its still cheaper than what you are paying vm and you have the best of both worlds and slightly cheaper and dont forget you get the full sports pack not half of it like you get with vm

just spoke CS and was told that VM had sold there TV service to Sky and need to speak to them,when I asked what VM would now supply was told a broadband and TV service only,now on to another person who said they did not know anything about it

you cetainly aren't the only one mislead into signing for the VIP pack thougn VM employees will defend it to the hilt.

They have sold their tv channels only, such as Living & Bravo. This does not affect any other part of the VM business.
