Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
It's funny how people assume you are old if you are a great aunt (or uncle).
My youngest aunt was already a great aunt when she hit 35.
Admittedly she is considerably younger than her sisters (nearly 20 years younger than her oldest sister).

Thanks, the significant thing is the sense of moving on from the loss of my sister in law, earlier this year - and while we are sad she isn't here to see her grand daughter, it is still good news

There wasn't enough pressure upstairs to have a shower so washed hair in kitchen sink, did all the bottles I could find, the dishes and sterilised everything in sight. Hubby was on loo duty but we had been using water from my brothers tap (he is about 10 miles away and had water from last night) to flush the loo during the day. Then topped up any empty water containers.
Now looking at a snoring baby hoping he wakes soon for a feed so I can sleeeeeeeeep.

I can't imagine how bad it has been for you over the last few days - all I can do is pay tribute to the indomitable spirit that has kept you all keeping on keeping on - respect - hope you get that sleeep
