Thanks was talking to a mate at work this morning and he was convinced that you needed the new smartcards for the hd channels but he wouldn't take no for an answer.

My sister lives very close to southampton which is an area listed as ngtv but when she checked it doesnt look as if its there yet.
Should she need to reboot the box to get it, or is it automatic?

Thanks that's good to know. I'd assumed the fact that we've not been sent the new smart cards in Plymouth was a bad sign, but maybe there is still hope?
