I feel a bit liberated as I'm dealing with my problems. I had to withdraw everything in my account and opened a new one with a different bank and put it all in there before my credit score is completely fubar-ed. Then I contacted all my 'essentials' and re-directed all my direct debits to the new account. The mortgage will get paid, along with associated costs and my car.
I slept for the first time in weeks last night. I know its just the start of dealing with problems I've created myself, but i've done it

Fantastic news Dilli. I'm really happy for you.
My happy thought: Made it to Singapore (4 days late). I'm currently in the Business Class lounge at Changi Airport waiting for a flight to Penang. Hugh: I've had a look for your wedding ring. No luck I'm afraid

Thanks for looking - much appreciated.
If you get time, it was lost in the Singapore Airlines Business Class lounge, middle shower room, probably on top of the body wash dispenser* - thanks....
*but since it was in 1990, it might not still be there......

Congratulations dilli I just wish I could give you both a hug.
...............................
I had a sneaky feeling you would propose as soon as she arrived so I guess you did show a little patience.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
In my local Tesco I heard a woman ask an assistant "Do you sell clothes", he responded, "we sell childrens socks". She replied "No Cloves"
I said "Thats like Four candles from two Ronnies"
