Re: sky sports red button
I have tried twice with the red button on the tennis just to test it (V+) and it's killed the box twice. Am I being too impatient....is it really that slow?
Second time was after a reboot.

If they do not know yet about cricket highlights or match stats i woud doubt very much that they are going to appear otherwise why would they not know ?after all the only cricket to appear was months ago on red button despite a summer of it.

Because they've only been told about Football First so far. Exactly as martine's post says.

So i gave up on sky sports on VM and now stream the lot,but if you are correct i will be back with my £22.50 a month mate.

My opinion exactly...I am prepared to give Sky some of my hard-earned as long as they give me what I am paying for, but I'm with you in that if I have to stream some stuff, I will just stream whatever I want to see. Look forward to hearing on here just what is available and what is not!

Re: sky sports red button
I think Virgin are only going to be given a choice of different matches with this red button (that are not on the main channels), but the stuff like stats, cricket/player cam etc will remain exclusive to Sky customers. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I think

Kniowing Sky, my instinct tells me you're right even thought I hope you're not. In the absence of any communication or confirmation, we'll just have to wait and see...

I'm sure we'll still get stats, replays etc when there is a match choice on, but only then, not if there isn't a match choice option.

Well i doubt it i use cricket as an example just because its the sport i follow,in april the first sport on red button was cricket a match between west indies and pakistan it was the first sky sports red button on virgin media.
Since then nothing despite there being two west indies v india matches on red button on sky sports which were not made available to sky sports subscribers on vm,since april yes as far back as that, NO cricket be it stats ,replays or yes even live matches shown on red button on sky sports have been made available to vms sky sports subs the cynical part of me says it never will either.
And you seem to have worked out how this happens as well sky simply do not offer the option to VMs hard pressed sky sports subs.
