Re: TiVo
I got a call last night and booked an install on Sat 19th for £149, also got another call just now but thought one would be enough for now
Are sales doing calls now also? Last night was the outbound tivo team on 0161, today was the usual 0800 052...

Re: TiVo
Are people getting these calls to their landlines? Or are they calling mobiles?

Re: TiVo
perhaps they are now calling peeps in order of their registration of interest ... especially as they are now calling XL customers but yesterday said a further 1000 lucky lotto winners would get a special deal ...
i hope the £149 price isnt the special deal
anyway good luck to those being called , hope its all plain sailing for you

However, they couldn't book me in for an install as the system already holds an upgrade for me booked for 16th to go from BB-XL to BB-XXL
That's ridiculous that the two couldn't go on the system at the same time.... have to call back once my XXL upgrade had gone through.
Very annoying as TiVo is far more important to me than my BB upgrade
|
Can't you cancel the BB upgrade, then upgrade at a later date?

Re: TiVo
Aside from the fact they were calling Tivo and VIP customers first - now they are calling us 'ordinary folk' (TV XL), are they calling from alphabetical lists? I hope not, my surname begins with W !!

Re: TiVo
Vm don't with-hold their number when calling, so likely to be 0800 or 0161 etc.

well i was meaning for the second 1000 ... as that would mean they are now doing that second lotto list
the £199 + £40 i understood to be for new customers not for existing customers but then VM havent exactly been forward with their pricing so far

After having the S1 box since 2001, plus a £10/m sub for the EPG data, £149 is a great price. I don't think the folk comparing it to the V+ or other DVRs realise what a awesome user experience TiVo actually is.
