Any chance of Animal Planet HD coming to VM (since it is a non-Sky channel)

I am sure they would would prefer to be in a package Lew, but it could still be that Virgin's handling charge for a stand alone channel make that option unattractive.

It looks as if it is just not listing in the menus - there are still some 3D (non-movie) programmes available in you use search.

Sounds like a sensible solution to me. I would guess though the issue may be around how to stop the SA V+ boxes attempting to play the content that would maybe crash the box.

I have an SA V+ box but it would only get swapped if it has a fault and there is no fault.

Cable should work on the princleable of a mobile phone contract. when its done they should tie them into another whilst giving them Tivo STB and a deal when they have a Tivo box to keep people into a contract.

No of course not. We have plenty of 3D content on the media player but it's good to keep checking on the Tivo for new stuff seeing as Virgin have promised it.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin TV (2012) Vol. 1
Let me get this right. Virgin are offering SKY Movies HD on demand with no surround sound... why would you bother?
---------- Post added at 19:04 ---------- Previous post was at 19:01 ----------
P.S. If i pay the same for my SKY movies HD as a TiVo customer then i want Movies on demand in HD the same as them, if my V+ and V HD boxes are considered to be technically inferior then Virgin as my content provider and renter of my equipment should offer me a free upgrade to equipment that can provide me with this service.

Absolute rubbish, TiVo boxes don't attempt to decode red button material and crash do they??? It's a blatant attempt to get people off very good quality V+ boxes on to sub standard TiVo boxes.. "we think it's the best way to watch telly, ever" - well not many other people do, or they are going to take a lot more convincing.
