Virgin test channels out some times to see if it will work fine ahead of launching an new channel.
I have not seen any launch dates for any new channels - I will post here when/if I get more info.

Perhaps they don't need to test it, but want to let people know that something is on it's way, knowing that customers are getting impatient for new additions, yet can't (or don't want) to say what it is going to be.
I asked a VM manager that I know, what it is it going to be. He said "you'll have to wait and see". I took this to mean that it was not simply a network stability test and that something was going to launch, but I could be wrong!
What genre is 890 in?
Re: Stephens point, have all the Sky Sports red button services started yet, or is there still some more to come?

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. III.
Does anybody know of any 3D related content coming to VM, either rumoured or confirmed? I believe Discovery 3D will be a full time channel but apart from that.. Nothing.
Bought a 3D TV about 3 months ago and I can count on 1 hand the amount of times I've watched things in 3D. Would be nice to get something to watch..

Can't see much 3D content being added anytime soon with the exception of maybe PPV movies.

Do you have to add extra sugar to your hot drinks to counteract your bitterness?
