Dick Scudamore speaking out will come back to bite some one big time in the future, for instance if Fulham get to the Europa final this time next year who'll be able to complain when they field their second string? The team that gets relegated because of it, the team that misses out on winning the league because of it?

For me, I agree with Iadom here. Which team would you want to play? A team that will be just looking to get through the match uninjured for Wednesday or a team who will be looking to take their chance to impress their manager?

If you read it again I am agreeing with him to. There is a bigger picture here though and Scudamore has opened up a can of worms for the future by saying what he did.

It is a tough one and not sure which side is right to be honest as can see both sides of the arguement

I thought they still had a first squad of 25, and out of that they chose the starting 1. (Not including the youth team)

Re: Football : Season 08/09
Kuszczak - Neville - Ferdinand - Brown - Fabio - Martin - Gibson - Fletcher - Tosic - Welbek - Macheda.
If that lot play to their potential Hull will get battered. Especially look out for Lee Martin and Tosic. Martin has been awsome for the reserves this season, put on some bulk and pace. Tosic is going to be a star next season, suprised he hasn't made some 1st team appearances.
I think we may suprise a few people.

well we won 4-3 against Hull at home with a stronger side and fielded a stronger side against Everton in the semi final of the cup and didn't even get a shot on target. There is no way on earth that side will batter Hull

Wasn't that much stronger and we outplayed Everton for most of that game, bar a pathetic Pen decision could have been in another final. Lets see what happens. Some good players that nobody has heard of in that team.

The few times that I have seen Lee Martin, he has not really impressed me. I hope that he has improved in the reserves.
Kuszczak will no doubt give us a few scares through the match. He never looks safe and confident in goal.

He never impressed me, at 1st team or reserve level. What I have seen of him this season he looks a lot better. Kuszczak doesn't impress me, great shot stopper, terrible on crosses. They will all have to play to their potential no doubt about that, Hull are no mugs, but they are good enough to get a result.

Lets hope I am not on here Sun night saying sherer was right the Press, in typical "Big game on the way" fashion have left us in a terrible situation, we have to go out of our way to try and send Hull down, if we don't we are damned. Kinda pathetic, but expected.
