You bet. I am hyper enough to fly over to you without bothering with a plane. Break out the Gin and make mine a large one, I'm on my way.

Now you know the pink wig is only for me to wear when I go bald!
OK, off to run round the block to get rid of some of the caffeine.
Oh Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy, me.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Heard some excellent news this morning.
At Uni, we regularly have meetings involving the support staff, academic staff and student representatives. Basically so all three groups can bring up problems they have, or respond to problems bought up by the others. The idea being to hopefully solve any problems before they become major.
Anyhow, a colleague went to one last night, and apparently the students singled me out and praised me for the help I gave them.

Well done Stuart.
Don't let it become a habit though. They'll all expect it!

Current circumstances dictate that is not the case. That, like most things, can change.

Just heard from guide dogs - I'm not in the system and it's all going to happen, albeit slowly. But it's on it's way and all that

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Just had a report from Flyboy11's tutor. His reading age has gone from seven point three, to eight point two, this term. A remarkable achievement for him, raising his level by almost one whole year, in the space of just three months. We are so glad that we chose this school for him. It is so difficult for parents, when the choice of secondary schools is so limited. I am going to pass this snippet on to his former junior school; I know that they will be as proud of him, as we are.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Well done to FB11, and to you and your family for the support which, I am sure, helped him achieve this.

The 5 auction items I successfully bid for on Wednesday afternoon were posted to me on Thursday morning and delivered by First Class Parcel Post at 7:55am this morning. East Sussex to Manchester in less than 24 hours. to Royal Mail.
