Looking better this half, esp now at 2 - 0.

Croatia winning is (I believe) the final nail in Scotlands slim hopes.

If we finish top (as seems will happen now) we get a 3rd placed team.

Get past that and it would likely be Mexico, and if we got past that, Brazil in the Quarter Finals.
If we managed to get past all of them, it could likely be Argentina in the Semi Finals.

Strange how that would work out, no European Teams, unless the 3rd place team we meet is.
However, even that looks like it wont be the case, the 5 options atm are Ecuador, Uruguay, Senegal, D.R.Congo or Algeria.

Walk in the park then Vini Jr. (Brazil) or PSGs anchor in midfield (Portugal)

As it stands, we will face Senegal, unless DRC can score twice.

Well amazingly .... they have, DRC are now winning, which means we'll face them if it says like this.

Re: World Cup 2026

Well, the USA have set a new record - they are simultaneously hosting the World Cup and bombing one of the nations playing in that World Cup…

It's a shame Russia isn't at the world cup. I find that more hurtful to be honest.

Iran are going home anyway. Waste of time. Waste of space.

Ukraine would have played, but were eliminated in the playoffs by Sweden.

Is Germany v Paraguay actually on BBC1 tonight? Because the VM TV guide on my V6 box doesn't show it, only tennis.
