I wouldn't get too excited for FAST channels if they're anything like Netgems channels then prepare for a line up of advert filled junk.

I agree. I’ve tried them and it’s mostly junk. I think these FAST Channel may shine brightly for a while before they dim when people have had enough of them, but given that some people seem to be happy to watch whatever is on at the time, there may be enough of them who are quite happy to watch mind-numbing TV.

I still haven’t met anyone who admits to watching them and most have never heard of them, but some must be watching because they are certainly making money out of it. I suppose it’s not that surprising given that the content must be pretty cheap to buy.

The introduction of FAST channels to the VM EPG on 360 and Stream is just the addition of those already available on Pluto TV:

Therefore there is no mystery as to what content will be available or the quality of that.

These channels are already available to those with a V6 box via the Pluto TV app.

I was watching a movie on Thriller just last night the killer walks into the cabin raises his knife to stab the teen and it goes to a ad break lol.

Channel 4 has the EPG slots 104, 106 and the block 141 to 147 so could have:

104 Channel 4 HD

106 E4 HD

141 Channel 4 +1
142
143 E4 +1
144 E4 Extra
145 More4 HD
146 More4 +1
147 4Seven HD

141 is very easy to remember for Channel 4 +1 as is 147 for 4Seven HD.

142 is left vacant as I understand that E4 HD is on 106 on some sort of lease arrangement, so needs a position to return to should this end.

I’d imagine BBC Three might return to 106 when the lease expires. BBC Scotland and ALBA could also be pushed up, too.

I think all HD changes this week was down to Virgin wanting the same lineup on all boxes.

I still can't in the hell of me think why Sky has given up three main channel numbers on Virgin this past week (Channels 136 to 138).

Rumour say Virgin selling the 3 slots to the higher bidders.

This week changes is just part one. I feel more EPG changes may follow in the coming months.

BBC are set to close BBC Four by 2025 but base on this week channels changes we may see the following soon in that area:

England:
