have VM had this firmware sitting around for the past 2 years?

2010 Virgin Media. All rights reserved. it says at the bottom...
wonder if this was the firmware that "should" of been on the superhub from day 1, but due to VM rushing it out, they just tweaked the netgear interface as a quick fix until this was ready.. hmm

i can confirm, that the provisioning details are still available.

As mentioned previously its under router status.. but you need to be logged out to get to it.

heres the url link, http://192.168.0.1/VmRouterStatus_configuration.asp

I see, it only appears before you log in. It certainly is an improvement.

I always thought it was odd that the Superhub had no way for an installer to check how things were running without logging in.

Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)

just got it too and also noticed they have removed the ability to see the provisioned speed, that is not a very good move at all to be honest. either it's on purpose or an accidental oversight. but I think the former is more likely.

I quite like the new UI but it will take a little getting used to.

aha I see where you can see the provisioned speeds now, interesting way of doing it, but I think it should be under advanced also.

Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)

no idea, lol even more stranger is why at the bottom it is dated 2010

makes me wonder how long this firmware has been sitting around.. and whether it was the original intended firmware.. with everything previously being a "quick fix"

Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)

Hi all,

I have just received the new firmware.

Turned of modem mode as I was using a very old router which was stopping me get max speeds.

All I hope is that that router does not require resetting every day.
