Re: Who should be the next Doctor Who?
Never heard of him so I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
Mind you I'd never heard of David Tennant either.

Someone who doesn't scream, and who every time they open their mouth I don't expect batty old Gran to emerge.
Trouble is do they go really young or really old?Or do they find another 26 year old to match...

Re: [Update] Matt Smith is the new Doctor Who
Well, the Who forum has imploded again. This time the 'paying customers only' message let slip that it only takes 2,000 visitors to crash the site.
Still, we don't need them and their gang of obsessive posters for whom today's announcement has elicited comments like

Re: [Update] Matt Smith is the new Doctor Who
Apparently he was a late favourite - some people were convinced it was going to be Paterson Joseph, though.

Re: [Update] Matt Smith is the new Doctor Who
I feel sorry for him. I'm currently reading all the comments on the TubeTalk section of DS, and most are saying he's too young, he's too ugly, he's unknown. He has a year of people commenting on him when they haven't seen him play the role yet.

Re: [Update] Matt Smith is the new Doctor Who
Well then he'll feel right at home because all of those things were said about previous Dr Who actors...
