Stoned? Illegal, no comment required.
And sex, yes, it's great, but only when enjoyed in the right setting. If kronas is to find fulfilment and enjoyment in his life I suggest he'll be spending his time most wisely making friends and enjoying the more constructive things available.
If I'm unhappy with life, all those things are just escapism, a fleeting pleasure is just that, fleeting.
You're always left in the same state you started with.
And using any of those things to escape from things is dangerous, especially considering that the first two can form dependancies and in fact so can the third.

You are missing the point.kronas is tending to become more and more introspective and he knows this is not the best thing for him. However we as a group have tried everything to shake him into seeking professional help and to get him out into society more,at his request. However all our suggestions seem either to be ignored or dismissed so now we are trying to jolly him along,to encourage him to break the cycle he has got into.We are scraping the bottom of the barrel of our collective experiences here.
Frankly I've got to the point where I have no more advice beyond be yourself when dealing with girls and seek professional help from a qualified source rather than forum amateurs with only life experience to offer.Take it or leave it kronas but stop asking for advice if you aren't going to take it.It's pointless unless you listen and use any of it.
Sorry to be harsh but there it is.

the thing is im not a typical 18 year old, im controlled, i know what i am doing, i certainly dont want to look/act like a prat, drink, take drugs, smoke, im not in to the typical things an 18 year old is, im much more aligned with older people, always have been.

i point blank refuse to do those things.
i know whats best for me, staying away from drinking and smoking is good for me, especially when my physical state is more than questionable.

im not happy, but thats because of a number of reasons, i see your point, i dont expect the first person i come across to be 'the one' at the same time i dont not want to be in the land of promiscuity....
my morals/ethics dont allow me to, im just not that type of person, im ofcourse willing to accept multiple relationships to find someone.
i maybe ill but i still know what im on about!!!

if your talking about drugs/alcohol, its what some people do to escape, admittedly most do it for 'recreational' purposes, as well as to 'fit in'

Re: kronas needs a woman !
I think alcohol is seen in too much of a negative light - it can raise people's spirits, make people happy and it can drown irrelevant worries*. Look across the continent, where it is drinken sensibly and in moderation. (And don't flood me with exceptions, people. Yes, there are exceptions... but in general, these people can control themselves.) No fights, no arguments or disputes, no damaging property. Just merriness and a positive attitude. Just seems that in this country we cannot handle it. I think one of the problems for this is the 'big, hard, mature' image which people associate with alcohol, which is stupid really. Also, the early closing times and the happy hours. People rush their drinks and have too much.
If people drink in moderation, don't drive whilst alchohol is still in the blood and just enjoy themselves then I see no problem.
*Hell yes, before some people start, I know the bad parts all too well also.

Re: kronas needs a woman !
i see your point, the inevitable thing is i have a mindset of not wanting to drink, its always been there...i see it as a bad thing for so many reasons (which are obvious) i dont think alcohol, drugs, or anything related to that will help me, because im just refusing, i dont know why OB even suggested it, i certainly would not say that to someone.
