You mean the kind of thing an attacking midfielder or a winger should be doing? Fine, play him back in midfield. But he's no striker for United. If Rooney takes a kicking then we're left with no serious attacking options.

Man City have there own Donkey judging by the performances so far of Mr Santa Cruz!
They deserved a point at least from the Sunderland game, maybe not all 3 because in the first half the were terribubble
Superb finish by Johnson, i reckon that was probably the only place he could have put the ball to get the goal, a foot square corner to aim for
Good win for Utd as well, Fulham must be cream crackered after Juventus had em running round like headless chickens though

So Beckham out of World Cup. Phil 'Golden' Brown out of Hull.
Also Gerrard has once again gotten away with smacking someone in the face, and once again there was video evidence.

Amazing. An over-the-hill player is out of a tournament England won't win yet it gets splashed all over the front pages.

Inter deserve to lose this for all these wasted chances.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
I'm suprised one of my predictions has come true Inter have been terrific, much better than they were last year against us. Wesley Sneijder is a really good player. Saying that Chelsea have been very poor tonight, never really looked like they would score.

That said add Inter to the list of teams I do not want Arsenal to draw. United Vs Barca. Inter vs anyone but Arsenal.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Wonder if this will harm the coefficient ranking for the UK (thus removing a Champions League spot). Shouldn't do because there were 3 English teams in the semis last year but there are just still two in the Quarter Finals this year. Liverpool out in group stage, Chelsea out in last 16.
France are doing well though. Lyon though and likely Bordeaux.

No it won't, after the past four or five seasons when theres been at least three English teams in the quater/semi finals it will take a lot more than a team going out in the last 16 to lose a place. I think if Inter went out tonight Italy would have lost a place though.
