That is Good News Im Glad The ITV HD Channels are Coming To Virgin Media This Autumn 2012 That Means You Get To See Shows Like The Vampire Diaries, (Final Series) of Gossip Girl, The Only Way Is Essex & Celebrity Juice etc in HD Yayyyyyy! Holly Willoughbooby in HD lol and Watch ITV 2 Brand New Shows Like 666 Park Avenue & Animal Practice which is great. Also I Would Like It If Virgin Media Get Sky Sports News HD Because I Watch Sky Sports News All The Time Specially With The Football.

Don't think either is being released. Talks do tend to go on and on and on and on and on. Hope I'm wrong but don't think Atlantic will be anywhere near Virgin for a long time yet

More a case of HD showing how bad SD is like when I got glasses for the first time I don't realise that everything was so blury.
Also some channels really skimp on the bandwidth which can make a bad SD picutre look almost pirateovision.

Mind you with "Game of Thrones" now on SKY 1 do you think the worm may be turning. Maybe Series 2 on SKY 1 as well? We have a Game of Thrones in our house. Only one toilet.

That still doesn't alter the fact that if SD is the only option offered, there is no choice.
But would you choose to not watch a Sky Atlantic show, just because it is only on SD? Do you choose not to watch shows on othe SD only channels for the same reason?

Unfortunately Victor says yes. But I am older and need the extra retinal infusion. If I could not source the material elsewhere then yes I would watch it in SD.
