Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Worth a quid at least..
Middlesbrough to beat Man Utd (Would be something to get over the disappointment!)
Spurs to beat Chelsea
Rangers to beat Celtic
£1 stake returns around £180

Bookies round here are taking bets on what they are calling United's Dream Treble, beat Chelski to the Premiership, beat Man City in the FA Cup and beat Liverpool in the Champions League.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
cracking game and Chelsea could have lost this game 6-1 if Spurs had taken all their chances
this shows the luck they have even when they play poor they still get a result and i can't see them being that poor in the replay even is it is at WHL

Great game, what a poor ref though, was it eight or nine cards handed out, god knows what would have happened if it had been a rough game.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
The full Europe XI squad
Goalkeepers: Oliver Kahn, Grégory Coupet, Iker Casillas.
Defenders: Paolo Maldini, Jamie Carragher, Eric Abidal, Lilan Thuram, Carles Puyol, Marco Materazzi, Fabio Grosso.
Midfielders: Gianluca Zambrotta, Steven Gerrard, Juninho Pernambucano, Florent Malouda, Luis Miguel, Gennaro Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo, Bolo Zenden.
Strikers: Ronaldo, Alessandro Mancini, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrik Larsson, Robbie Fowler.
I'm sure Carragher, Gerrard and Fowler will get a good reception!

How on earth did Fowler get in that team? Makes the whole thing a joke.

Yep, it's a shame that they don't happen so much when it really counts though.

I thought it was funny that the BBC were still showing clips before the game of Ronaldinhio and Ronaldo amongst others who weren't even playing.
An excellent free kick from Ronaldo which was good to see
