Re: Football Season 2014/15
England should have won comfortable tonight and Welbeck took his goals well.
I still feel that we need a new manager, yiou need to inspire young players. And Hodgson isnt the man.

Like Shadow says players need to play in their right position as you cannot put square pegs in round holes.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
But there was one specific instance when Welbeck was played in the middle up front and he totally went against direct instructions.
Against B Munich last season it had been identified that Neuer always jumps early when one on one, all the United players were instructed to shoot low in such circumstances. What does Welbeck do when he found himself in this exact position, he tried to chip Neuer who saved easily.
Apparently Welbeck got a bollicking for that and found his chances to perform limited afterwards.
But as I said, I sincerely wish him well at Arsenal.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
Take out the sentimentality about him being home-grown and produced at United and I'd say he's right. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets better with Arsenal though.

Gary Monk has been named the Premier League Manager of the Month, well deserved too.

Yes he has done well since taking over from Michael Laudrup.

Can't see a Newcastle win at Soton today. Saints win or bore draw.

Poor defending by Arsenal again as it seems they never seem to learn.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
City seem to be employing an "if it moves kick it " policy .
