I am so glad i am not a football fan. Rugby is my game and the main rugby for me is Super League. If by some miracle BT get that sport then i will move otherwise i am not interested in there channel and for the odd bit of rugby they have i can always stream it .

Re: BT Sports - Will you pay extra for it???
With all this haggling over 'are we or not' getting the channels, my simple question is that we have a member of VM staff on this forum and he is a bit quiet on this and must know something.
I have a sneaky feeling that this is what is going to happen.
WE will get BT Sports, but WILL have to pay BT direct as with Sky and it will cost £12.00 per month. If that is the case, you can forget me.
Times are hard at the moment, and l will just have to watch Saturday Sport on Sky, where you have such a laugh, it will better than watching BT Sports.
Both Sky and VM rip off their customers with high costs compared to other cable companies, and the sad thing is that its US, the customer who will lose out.
I am a big Spurs fan, and it might be cheaper to watch Spurs at home, than watch it on Tv.

Won't happen bud,vm don't work like sky.its vm you will subscribe to there is no way you will deal with bt direct.thats been the sticking point and that's why there is a good chance we may get it included in xl pack vm will agree a price and depending what they get it for will decide if cost or included

Arthur, that won't happen because you have to pay your bills to VM and they will not permit BT to bill you directly.
You might be right about the £12 per month, though.

Sky Sports signed a new contract in 2011 for the seasons starting from 2012 to 2016 inclusive so BT won't be getting that wonderful sport for a long time yet!

I'm sure there'd be lots like me re-assessing if they needed to be paying for an XL TV pack with no ESPN in it.

I would do the some and still keep sky sports and have BT sports to but as I am on the VIP pack how would that work or go to sky full package in HD £65.70 and get BT phone and broadband BT sports would be free
great deal
