I have no objection to that, WMP for mac is terrible. But's its small and non-instrusive. Once people compare that to quicktime they'll probably never use it unless they have to - I don't

Re: Realplayer 10 released
I would also like to add that WMP = free, not crippled shareware like QT or Real One, if there's going to be an alternative to WMP included, it should be Winamp, at least they share interopable codecs (unlike the other two), and to echo Jerrek's sentiments, if I want installers for sh*t software on my machine, I'll visit a warez site and watch my machine gather a bunch of spyware.

Damn, my secret quest for global rule is out
No, I plan on operating on my beliefs and principles as much as I can in the world the way that it is. If others like what they see and choose to follow similar beliefs then all well and good, if they don't nevermind. These principles are only unrealistic in todays world, they are not impossible to achieve over (a long) time. That is no reason for me abandoning them.

Well, as no-one is forcing Apple to bundle Windows Media Player, I would say that Itunes will never be bundled with windows, seems fair to me, more than fair actually, I hate itunes.

Of course QT installs crap .. it's called QT.
edit: and if you absolutely must view .mov files in windows, forget QT, get "Quicktime Alternative" http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail...fid=1049831315

wow, was that anattempt at humor? If QT is crap why do the big hollywood studios use it now? Peter jackson used QT based editing systems to do LOTR you know.
Oh and for your hate iTunes comment, you acctually used it? From your posts it seems you just hate apple for no real reason.

Can someone point out the differences between this one and realone. I can't see anything different, I'm still grateful if there are changes under the hood but I haven't noticed any difference.

Your red rep was for this post, or the similary pathetic one you made before it, I doubt anyone would consider my comment out of place.
And yes, I've used itunes, and yes, I still hate it.
