I don't know what view you saw but every one i saw there was an obvious push on Vidic and the ref made the right decision.
I was watching the news today and they were talking to someone in charge of the stadium who rather than looking into the security issues about last night was more concerned about his fence being broken and was blaming druken United fans for breaking it down Unbelievable, i hope Uefa do something major about this but i can't see it happening.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Excellent performance from Liverpool tonight, good result for Chelski as well to go with Uniteds win last night. What a pity that Perfidious Albion were let down by the only 'English' team without a single English player in the squad.
Jim.

Uefa has charged Lille with the improper behaviour of their players during last Tuesday's Champions League tie against Manchester United.

Too right
Also it's good to see that the game will not be replayed, which is what Lille wanted. Hopefully Uefa actually do something major with this, like not allowing Lille to compete in the competition next year.

Roberto Martinez returns to the Swans, this time as the new manager

Talk about a fan favourite - he should never have been released last year.

These are the type of games that either win or lose you the league, so it's good to see we are winning them

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Utd were shocking at the weekend. Neville was apparently dropped because of the argument with Fergie on Tuesday.
What about Curbishley, he's gotten the dreaded "Vote of Confidence" will he last the season?

yes that's for games running Charlton, Reading, Lille and now Fulham where we have played rubbish.. the big test is next sat and based on how we have been playing i can't see us getting a result.. just hope we can turn this poor form around
yeah West Ham have one win in 11 and who was that against ?
think in this case it's not the manager but the players

I'd agree with that, it's for that reason I thought we got rid of the other Alan to soon, we should have sacked a couple of under performers instead

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
yeah i can't see Lucas Neil putting in any sort of effort.. far too many players are overpaid prima donnas
if they had done their job properly the club wouldn't be in this mess.. you can gaurentee that they will all be trying to leave if the club goes down too

Yes but three out of four of those games we have won and only conceded two goals in them, which for most teams is not poor form at all.
We may not have played the best football but if we get the results needed who cares

Lucas Neil couldn't get of the pitch quick enough the other day when he was 'injured', to think I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he joined, should've known better , funnily enough if/ when we go down this time all except this season's buy's have clauses in them allowing for dramatic drops in wages upon relegation and if they think that getting a team with the supposed talent this one has relegated makes them look like attractive signings then they had better think again

A picture of a fan protesting outside Croke Park on Saturday.
Obviously no one would be stupid enough to protest about sports like football and rugby while wearing a foreign teams football strip and tracksuit would they...
