He has still got some convincing to do for some including me but a few better performances might go some way to convincing us doubters.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
After all the Racism rows of the past few weeks! Finally one with some truth to it.
Sammy Ameobi has been racially abused over twitter and both Newcastle and the player have contacted police. The account has since been deleted and the disgraceful comments removed.
Kick Racism out.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
l will second that as Racism l am afraid is still prevalent in parts of society and it is terrible to be on the wrong end of racism taunts and namecalls and l experienced this when l was younger along with my brother and in my mind if someone makes these disgraceful comments and taunts in whatever sphere of society it is then the book should be thrown at them totally as in a civilised society we should not tolerate it at all.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
l think the award should be based on a full season and not based on part of one season and then part of another season as what a player does last season does not mean he is going to be in form come the first half of the next season.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez would welcome a move to another Premier League club, according to his advisor Kia Joorabchian, who said: "His family are now living in England, so he's quite happy and settled."

I went to football last saturday for the first time in ages and despite us winning, playing well and not being that long ball at all I don't think I'll be going back in a long time, ÂŁ41 for Championship football but that's not the worst of it, some one behind me was told to stop shouting and another plank piped up with "oh did we change halves" 10 mins after half time.
Footballs lost its way so badly from what it used to be, I am sure there are loads of people that think its absolutely fab to sit there quietly with their family but I think it's crap and one of the worst things was as we got of the train a load of Foxes fans were at the station who started signing, I thought great they're gonna get a good vocal thrashing, not a titter, no one said a bloody word, I thought it odd and with hindsight should have got straight back on the tube and gone home.

Not sure how at is at West Ham but at Arsenal the atmosphere is different depending on the area of the stadium you are in. The cheaper seats and the ends behind the goals are better than that on the sides, whereas lower tier is better than upper tier. Tonight I am in the upper tier on the side, great seat (just behind where they put the cameras), but the atmosphere isn't as good.
