You are such a pessimist, Den!
You will be pleased to note that I am not in an argumentative mood today!
UPDATE: The answer, it seems, is that Sky's carriage deal with Virgin Media comes up for renewal in 2019. I doubt we will get any UHD channels or on demand material from Sky before then, sadly. But it does give Sky the initial exclusivity they want.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin Media TV (2017)
TiVo has an update last night about 2.45am in MB HQ.
We have found an "From" on top of a channel logo in My Shows has been added.

Well, that's not surprising, really. In a few days, you will have forgotten about Blaze, too. Both very forgettable additions to our channel line up, but hey, I'm sure that Mr K is happy!

Too right OB. Don't know how anyone can complain about having an extra film channel. Those that don't subscribe to Sky movies have been sold a bit short by VM in recent years.
As for Blaze, not my cup of tea. But the more options the better to keep everyone happy. If only we could have a crap channel button to block out channels we're not interested in. I'd be blocking about 90% of them.

You have - set up the ones you want under favourites then you only need to look through them on the EPG.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin Media TV (2017)
I think an option to turn on SD channels where there is a HD or 4k option would be handy ok HD

I would prefer an option to hide them.

I think BLAZE is actually a fairly worthwhile addition, for all of us that aren't on the Full House package. We don't get History, Crime + Investigation or Lifetime so this channel provides a selection of content from those channels. It is also a Freeview channel so it's only right that it should be provided on Virgin Media.

Fair enough, if this brings some new programming into the lower packages.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin Media TV (2017)
Stumbled upon this article about Insight TV's UHD/HDR Progress.
"We are also in discussion with Virgin Media and the option to offer the SVoD service in UHD looks promising. We remain hopeful!”
https://www.ibc.org/delivery/insight...h/1995.article
Could it be included in a package? or is that wishful thinking lol
