So it's not like the fans of the show who can't get Sky will ever actually get a chance to see the show, even if it was next year.

Good point Carl. Things like Sons of anarchy first aired on a pay TV channel (Bravo I think) and then, later, got shown on five USA. The first season of Heroes was shown on Syfy and then on BBC.
This doesn't happen with Sky shows. As Sky now own Bravo shows, I gues Freview users won't get to see Sons of anarchy, unless it was part of the original deal.
Yet more evidence of nasty, evil, money grabbing Sky. (That bit just for Muppetman )

Yes we will have to see what becomes of these investigations , Sky are in court against OFCOM now over Sky Sports wholesale costs , and I believe VM and BT are there against OFCOM.

Surly it's easier to not capitalise each word wouldn't it?

The trouble is, all these things take so long to get sorted out.

I believe OFCOM v Sky Sports will be in court for around another 6 weeks , the competition commission have set a date in 2012 to complete the movie situation by.

There's a principle here in my view; because of the vast amounts of money sky has, they can take just about any show they want, when smaller channels have taken the risk with the initial commisioning. Sky should be ashamed of themselves for such tactics IMHO.

And well done to them and if any other channel tried to pinch a show sky took the risk on, i'd be just as critical of that channel. Not going to happen in reality, but the principle is there.

Agains sky's masses of money. Surely, you are joking!? Nicking is the right word in my view.

Nothing surprises me with Sky.

Ok I will but tell others to stop taking the mic out of my writing . I have moderate learning difficulties and teachers told me to write that way.

I'm more than happy with their service , as for their business practices speak to Rupe I currently enjoy watching quite a few shows on Sky One HD , Sky Atlantic HD and Sky Living HD so they must be doing something right

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. II.
I don't give a monkeys if this is off topic. Can some of you STOP taking the pee out of those who aren't the best at spelling, grammer, punctuation etc etc.
This is a MESSAGE BOARD NOT A SCHOOL ROOM!
Simply having the first letter of each work in capitals does NOT make it difficult to read. If it is difficult for YOU to read I suggest it's YOU that has the problem & it doesn't give you me or anyone else the right to take the mick!
