Hmmm, Anime was one of the categories in the promo video.
This seems like good news...

Actually it's both.
Quote:
Take the front page, for example. Ranged along the top is what Virgin Media terms the "discovery bar". It's not just there for show, but suggests and recommends programming you might fancy trying out based on others you've seen or recorded. It will also hint at pay-per-view content you may enjoy, such as on-demand movies, or it could also be used by Virgin Media to let you know about a new channel or service that's popped up:
"Certain pieces of content, either by our partnerships or through our own curated direction, we can slot into the discovery bar. Front and centre, there could be something that says 'New', for example", said Green.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. IV
I'm guessing that when we get TiVo we will be able to access the full BBC iPlayer via the app rather than the cut down version currently available via Catch UP TV and the red button. Anyone know any more about this?

The back panel of the VM Tivo box is very different from the US Tivo Premiere, in several areas for obvious reason and in othere areas to keep costs/complexity to a minimum. The pictures shown so far for the VM Tivo have no eSATA connector.

Will it replace the V+ Box. If so, going to be expensive for me as I have two boxes. Won't they have any "deals" for long standing customers.

If you want the new kit then you will have to pay for installation as each box has a built in modem because they have a dedicated 10Mb connection purely for the TiVo.
As with all new kit if you want it you pay the premium for the privilege.

Don't the existing boxes have a cable modem that's used for VoD, just not running at 10Mb?

It needs to be installed, it can't be done on quickstart.

The new boxes are a bit different because with the dedicated line you can browse the internet using the TiVo box without affecting the main connection in the property.
The standard boxes use the internet for what you state but you cannot use it in the way the new box will be able to, go to the home page and click the TiVo link for a demo.
