Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Rooney seems to save his best goals for the FA Cup
Here is one Rooney scored against Middlesbrough, a game which I was fortunate enough to be at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HM2fHQw5d6s
He is building quite a catalogue of great goals.

Yep, a lob over the keeper.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Ronaldo not for sale, says Gill
Quote:
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to Real Madrid but Gill told BBC Five Live's Sportsweek that a £35m bid would be "turned down straightaway". "There is no point having £35m, £40m or £45m if we can't replace that talent. At 21, Ronaldo has had a great season and we believe the best is yet to come."
Gill said any offer would have to go to the club's owners, the Glazer family, for consideration - but is adamant it would be rejected.
"If I put it to them it would be a very short call," he explained. "If the manager says 'no sale' then they go along with it without a doubt.

I was trying to find the goal that Cantona scored and it's the number 3 in this montage. Both goals are very similar.

Yeah but Lampard for £8m? Sale of the century, especially if Hargreaves is a £20m man.
