I think we did better as we went on, but yes, keeper certainly kept us in it at first. I was surprised the 2nd string defense wasn't too bad, it's not often our defence is better than our attack.

Re: Football : Season 08/09
My main worry about the result was we played well and only won 1-0 where as Arsenal played badly and only lost 1-0. We can't improve much but they can.
Webb has also admitted he was wrong to give a pen against Spurs

But if we score one goal against them at the Emirates they will need to score 3 to stop us from going through. That put's us in a very strong position imo.

Re: Football : Season 08/09
Anyone read John Terry's rant about Hammers fans on Monday, I think he and the completely moronic reporter went a bit OTT, which strangely enough is exactly what he was accusing our fans of, what's his problem anyway it's not like his mum isn't a thief is it? He says "if you can give it, you should take be able to take it" Whereas his mum took it and declined to give any money for it!
So in this wum's honour, here is a little vid that made me chuckle

Yeah i'm thinking so , never believe it until its mathmatically impossible for Liverpoo to win. Two stumbling blocks i see are City and Arsenal.

Re: Football : Season 08/09
How on Earth have Boro managed to stay unbeaten at home since Boxing Day, they were really dreadful. Or perhaps United just made them look awful.

I agree there - I can imagine Arsenal and City going all out to spoil the party.

Madrid 2-6 Barca
Wow! I'd be a little bit nervous if i was a Chelsea fan at the moment, they've been very impressive Barca, scored some very good goals tonight.

Less than that if Liverpool slip up at St James Park.
