You would not believe some of the things I have removed from washing machines. Dog leads, kitchen knives, false teeth, bottle openers, £500 solid gold necklace, watches and millions of the usual suspects, coins and bra wires.
The best one ever was when I was still working for Hotpoint many years ago and was called out to a twin tub, down the side of the spin drum was a Dinky toy, a large wooden spoon and the top from a torch plus two batteries, its a long story, see if you can work it out.

Been an ntl customer for 4 years, 600K BB, Family Pack despite recent price hike (our 3 year old would never forgive me if we stopped getting Nick Jr).
Mainly lurked on the .com site - always found lots of useful info there though - hope this turns out to be the same.
Dropped in on Friday - saw the Community thread and then spent most of the afternoon clicking on Refresh to see when this site would appear.
