Unfortunately not, hence why we've now got all those terrible things to look forward to.
The only way is up, for crime, illegal imigrants, education failures, taxes... *joy*
I object to having to suffer because a minority of the public were muppets and voted labour

Many of us who voted Labour would resent such insulting remarks as you make. Are you a bad loser? In our democracy we have for years had the first past the post system it works.

Mmmmmh! Lazy or not interested V Stupid ............
I said most of them are lazy because they can't be bothered voting or thinking about who to vote for.
Some abstain for political reasons but most are either lazy or at best not interested....
Ask around, most will admit it, "I didn't know who to vote for".......... "It's a waste of time"...... "I couldn't be bothered"....
What ever the reason they all allow others to decide who will run the country and must be alright with that.

Re: The Cable Forum Exit Poll
yeah if a person cant be arsed voting then they are allowing other people to make the decision for them cos they dont care or they are lazy. if you dont vote then you are effectively offering to accept whatever outcome there is. or it could be that you're in a safe seat so you dont see that your vote is worth anything.
who cares! The Big Liar is back in and that's all that matters!

We also have proportional representation systems in Scotland, Wales, London and the European elections, and that works rather better in terms of getting *representative* government, which is the point of democracy.

Oh, *that's* democracy working, is it? I was wondering.
What I meant was that a victory with 36.2% of the vote (as it is now) with 39.5% not voting is hardly decisive, which was Gogogo's rather inflamed opinion. Democracy isn't working especially well if that's the case, and it's a worry for a lot of us.
Oo, Crawley's stayed Labour. By 37 votes.

Majority of economic experts state that labour will have to increase taxed significantly in order to match their spending needs.
Oh sorry, it won't be income tax, most likley NI will go up (which will hit businesses)
Rather than solve the problems, they prefer to mix in some spin to make it look like the problem has gone away. For instance, to get A&E waiting times down, several hospitals have introduced a pre-A&E waiting area, but the time spent in there isn't recorded. In order to meet violent crime targets, Nottingham police will not record gun crimes unless the victim presses charges (something many are too scared to do!).
We still have a PM who lied to parliment, lied to the public, didn't ensure there was sufficient planning and resources when we went to war, cost many servicemen their lives because they have shoddy or non-existant equipment.
Anyway, my predictions for labour have all come true so far.

Re: The Cable Forum Exit Poll
Labour dont need to increase taxes, their spending plans can be financed by borrowing the money, taxing pension funds and revaluating council tax bands etc
