Re: life on mars
Just seen a BBC2 ad (between Party People and Comedy Map).
Sam Tyler and Gene Hunt as Camberwick Green people.
Dialogue like "Are you unhappy, Sam?"
Sam nods yes.
"Is Gene beating up a nonce?"
Cut to Gene as a Camberwick Green figure, beating someone up.
Funny as a funny thing.

Re: life on mars
this clashed with Trial and Retribution as ITV moved that from Sunday to Monday on purpose.
does anyone know if this will be on VOD later tonight ?

Re: life on mars
Trial and Retribution is a two part programme
it is usually on Sunday and Monday
as LOM is on tonight they had the first part on Monday and the second part is on tonight.. hopeing that viewers who saw part one will watch part two and not LOM

Re: life on mars
Hmmpf, in which case ITV deserve to loose advertising revenue. Tape the ITV one to watch later whizzing past the ads, and watch on transmission the advert free BBC one

Re: life on mars
well no V + box so looks like i have to miss one of them as neither seem to be repeated on ITV 2 or BBC 3
hopefully this will be on VOD but as i've said many times without being able to find out in advance what's going to be on VOD the system still has shortcomings
might be able to get round it with my PC but the TV card is fed from an indoor ariel and so doesn't have great reception

Indeed .... you have to wonder whether ITV have somehow never worked out that in any head-to-head with the Beeb, they are at a major disadvantage due to the adverts. I'd never choose to watch ITV and tape the Beeb, always the other way round.

Re: life on mars
I'm rather ticked off as there is a clash with CSI...and I can see it being handbags at dawn between me and my husband.
