Hi,

has NTL blocked the use of VPN as I can't connect to a friends computer.

No, NTL do not block any sort of access. It is likely that your friends IP address has changed, or, if he goes through a router, his LAN IP address may have changed.

A firewall could also cause this issue. You should try opening all ports in the router (if he has one) and temporaly disabling any firewalls and try again. If it works then retrace your steps and find out which step(s) it was that made it work.

VPN is absolutley NOT blocked (outbound at least). I regularly VPN into work without a problem.
