Premise: Kamala is a superhero fan with an imagination, particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel; Kamala feels like she doesn't fit in at school and sometimes even at home, that is until she gets superpowers like the heroes she's looked up to.
I enjoyed it, especially knowing nothing about the character. I did find it funny in parts and I loved the animations and stuff they did in the background.
This show is pretty good. I haven't watched much of the MCU shows so far but this one has been decent.
The MCU and Disney is becoming a problem
Doctor Strange 2 is the first time I have come across where you had to watch a series to know what the feck is happening. If you had not watched WandaVision and to a point What/IF.
Now with MS Marvel down as a main role in Captain Marvel 2 we are likely to have the same issue again. They will be alienating those who not follow the series
Yeah enjoyed the series but not happy with how they will tie it in with The Marvels. If you have not watched the TV Show you will no idea what is going on just like with Doc Strange 2 and Scarlet Witch

Re: Ms Marvel
Watched it, enjoyed the spider man vibe, but also the deliberate attempt to make it true to the culture Kamala comes from. Very much hoped for the cameo we eventually got, and was delighted with it.
Anyone else notice this Easter Egg in the credits?

The stuff about her family and the partition of India was so compelling it was almost annoying when you were pulled out for some rather uninspired magical confrontation with generic villains. I really liked the show but I did feel that shift was a bit jarring.
