How and where to find a Trusted Locksmith
I've got a couple of locks to be changed, it needed to be done earlier but I was holding it to the last. Please let me know a good locksmith, I am afraid a little bit of them as I think they can enter my home and steal my goods

A lot of good independent locksmiths rely on word of mouth to build up a good reputation. If you have a forum local to where you live it's worth asking them for recommendations.
Oh and ...Welcome to the forum,

What sort of lock? If it's a straight replacement with the same type of lock, it's usually easy to do yourself. You will rarely need more than a screwdriver or two, and there are loads of "How to" videos on YouTube.

Euro locks have a common fault: the screw that holds them in seizes. My advice is to fit a screwdriver into the head, then tap the screwdriver with a hammer. Only a light tap is usually needed to free the corrosion.
But when changing Euro locks, ALWAYS get the correct size so that the lock doesn't poke out on either side of the door. And, if afraid of break-ins, buy the type that cannot be "snapped".

You also need to get the key in the right position to get a Euro lock out. Which might be a problem if the key is jammed, broken or lost.
