It must be our lucky week TD as Royal Ascot delivered a unexpected bounty with those E/W £1 bets.
Did okay at Ascot, could've done much better, bet on detori to go through the card on day one, he got one place out of seven, missed him on day two on purpose and meant to go through the card on day three with him and promptly fell asleep and forgot

Luckily l got The Grand Visir on day one at 33/1 , Move Swiftly on day two at a big price and other winners as well.

Fifty years ago tonight, after a long hard slog as pub trainees at Swiss Cottage ( a pub) in London, a bunch of us decided to have a party and watch the moon landing on telly.
