Re: Season 2018/2019
All good and well noting it's our creativity that's generally prevented goals. Rondon alone would suffice if he actually got chances to take. That was kinda the idea behind targeting Almiron. Need to be better going forward but improving from the middle not the front. Shelvey isn't at the races right now.

Pants to the Premiership, it's meaningless. Money, foreign players and TV fans. However FA Cup this weekend, where they'll be a few scalps on the line

Not Spurs though, a 7-0 win tonight. And I was working so couldn't watch it. Grr. Who has the highlights of it this season? BBC still?

An instantly forgettable game at Old Trafford today, nine changes is always going to lead to a disjointed display.

What saddens me about the FA Cup now is we used to have them all kicking off at 3 on a Saturday afternoon and now the matches are over over the place much to the irritation of many supporters.

Re: Season 2018/2019
Half of the top flight teams don't even want to be in the competition to be fair. FA Cup reaching the prestige of the Europa league.
It's alright when you can field two teams and still fly through. Don't be shocked to see Newcastle go out alongside Cardiff.

Peter Kenyon hoping to conclude the deal to takeover Newcastle. Very rarely hear anything from the buyers side. Wonder if this was to establish himself as the favourite after Gary Cook randomly chimed in.

Re: Season 2018/2019
Great result for Oldham today, can’t understand why VAR didn’t rule out the Fulham penalty though. Just watched the highlights and there was no discernible contact. Justice was done with a brilliant save and subsequent winner.
Watch this and tell me that was a penalty, it was a dive or at worst a slip. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46713170

Re: Season 2018/2019
To be honest, didn't think either penalties were penalties. But then that's why I'm not a referee.

Re: Season 2018/2019
Both penalties by the PL standard of refereeing brushed his foot with the tip of his studs. Nearly killed the lad.
Bolton Wanderers are in a hell of a mess after Chairman inexplicably says he doesn't care if the club goes under following the recent financial disaster they've been going through.

Are you referring to the rugby tackle that Sessegnon did as he wrapped both arms round the Oldham forward and dragged him to the ground?
If you didn't think that was a penalty then I agree with your second statement.

Need more of those given from corners to be fair.
