Another bit of info(if true) new owners want Netflix and lovefilm apps for TiVo and if I heard correctly hopefully included in xl pack.again not confirmed and it is only believed what they want at minute and doesn't mean it will happen but there is at least a possibility

Well when I joined SKY there was 5 main reasons:
1. Much more HD than Virgin
2. SKY Atlantic
3. SKY 3D
4. Access to Premier Sports
5. Oh and half price for 12 months!
However since joining SKY Virgin have:
1. Closed the HD gap (In terms of channels I would watch)
2. Appear to have done a deal for SKY Atlantic
3. Added plenty new 3D TV to their demand line-up
4. Premier Sports is dying on it's ass
5. Do half price deals for 9 and 12 months if you bide your time waiting for the offer!
If SKY Atlantic really is coming soon, and BT Sports does go into the XL package, Virgin Media becomes a very attractive proposition. As a Virgin mobile customers I'm getting offers for 1Tb TiVo, and a V+ box for free in a second room to come back. My wife will also be happy as Style has launched on Virgin too.
Don't get me wrong personally I'm finding SKY to be a great service overall, and they do keep on creating new products and services, however not necessarily ones that excite me.

Cannot see the logic of BT Sports being on XL for no extra cost when BT keep banging on about getting people onto their broadband.... Confused.

Me neither however everything will become clear in about 10 days time.
SKY customers taking BT have to pay a £15.00 registration fee. There are roughly 1.8 million Virgin customers on the XL package. Maybe Virgin have agreed a deal for the channels to go into XL with a bumper initial payment of £27,000,000 to BT to cover 1.8 million customer worth of registration fees? I know it sounds very unlikely, but certainly not impossible.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
But they keep saying they are using this to sell broadband. They sell no broadband whatsoever giving it to XL customers. I am very very cynical that this will be on XL.
